Dear friends of MPP:
I have some important updates regarding medical marijuana across the country.
In New Jersey, the Senate vote on the medical marijuana bill is scheduled for Monday.
Click
here to urge your legislators to support S119 now.
If you have already e-mailed your senator,
please take a moment to call him or her now.

In Montana, a medical marijuana improvement bill vote is expected on Saturday.
Please take a moment now to urge your senator to vote in favor of SB 326.
For more information on SB 326, please click
here.
On Wednesday, the Minnesota House Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight committee voted 9-6 in favor of MPP's medical marijuana bill, which would protect seriously ill Minnesotans from arrest and jail for using their doctor-recommended medicine.
However,
Governor Pawlenty confirmed that he remains opposed to the legislation, so we urgently need you to contact him now.
You will have the most influence by sending the governor a handwritten letter.
You can find his contact information and
some talking points here.

Taking action just takes a minute, and cancer, HIV/AIDS, and multiple sclerosis patients across the state are depending on your help.
Thank you for supporting MPP. Please pass this along to your friends, family, and e-mail lists, and urge them to take action today.
Sincerely,
Sara Cannon
